We arrived to Londorossi Gate with a starting altitude of 7,742 ft.
There were many signs of do’s and do not’s that we passed on the way in. One
said that if you have a cold you should not go above 3000m. That was
unfortunate because I was in the middle of a pretty bad cold. I decided not to
say anything… It also said “No sleeping in caves.” Apparently this was a
problem back in the day.

The first
sights we saw were actually forest turned farm land. The soil near the dormant
volcanoes was very fertile.
Finally
made it into the native forest…
It was a
little muddy… but we made it to the campsite!
